E1166 TSS – Annand Theatre

The Southport School are completing the Design for a state of the art 1200 seat multi-purpose Theatre, which will replace the existing theatre on site which the School has outgrown.

The Theatre will be able to function in full production mode with theatre lighting, sound and performance acoustics – including full curtain and a second curtain that will transform the theatre to a more intimate 300 seat setting.

For everyday use the theatre will have all necessary functions as a lecture hall, assembly space, presentation and graduation ceremony spaces as well as awards nights and various functions.

In the undercroft section of the building, the school will benefit from a custom designed Music level, incorporating performance and practice space, rehearsal rooms, tutoring space, recording studios and much more.
